Single ply roofing is made from large waterproof sheets applied directly to the roof deck or on top of a layer of insulation which forms a watertight membrane. These systems can be designed to incorporate many of the green initiatives that are rapidly increasing in the construction industry. Single Ply EPDM:
EPDM roofs are thermo-set rubber sheets available in black or white. Edwards Roofing is approved by several of the country’s epdm leading manufacturers and can offer the full range of applications , thicknesses, insulations, and accessories to provide you with a strong water-tight system and a long term warranty. Edwards Roofing can install products from Carlisle, GAF, and Firestone. Single Ply TPO:
Thermoplastic polyolefin is a relatively new technology in the single ply market that has been growing rapidly over the last 15 years. These large rolls are reinforced, usually white, with hot air welded seams, and capable of installation over rigid roof insulation, plywood, concrete, cellular concrete, and other substrates. Edwards Roofing is approved by Carlisle, Firestone, GAF, and John-Manville.
